Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Program
The intensive outpatient program for young adults with substance use disorders holistically addresses the unique needs of the client and family during the transitional period from adolescence into adulthood. Individual and group-based cognitive behavioral therapeutic approaches focus on the psycho-education of addiction, relapse prevention and recovery strategies, stress/mood management skills and life skills training. A weekly family component concentrates on the disease model, stresses of addiction, codependent behaviors and shifting life roles that occur during young adulthood.
