The focus of the FAIR program is individual and family recovery.  The program is appropriate for teenagers between the age of 13 and 18 years.  We strive to assist our teenage clientele in developing an understanding and desire for a healthier lifestyle -- free from drugs, alcohol and self-destructive behaviors.  Education plays an important role in the program for both the teenager and his or her family members.  We use workshops, lectures, and group sessions to explore and develop areas such as family communication, home contracts, limit setting, the disease concept, family illness, self-esteem, anger management, and relapse prevention planning.  The FAIR program also works with dualy diagnosed teenagers with depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders.  On site, youth Alcoholics Anonymous and Family Anonymous meetings provide support for both the teenager and the family in recovery.  Random drug screens are also given to aid and monitor the teenager’s progress while in treatment.
