....So what is "the F.A.I.R. program" anyhow?....
What we do best is get kids sober and help keep them out of trouble.
We are an intensive outpatient program (IOP), geared towards aiding adolescents
between the ages of 13 and 19 and their families through the recovery process.
We strive to assist our adolescent clientele in developing an understanding and
desire for a healthier lifestyle - free from chemicals and self-destructive behaviors.
Education plays an important role in the program for both the teen and his or her family
members. Through workshops and interactive discussions, we explore the dynamics of families
struggling with substance abuse issues and help them to develop and utilize coping skills.
We also educate families about relapse prevention, anger management, and self-esteem.
On site, youth Alcoholics Anonymous and Families Anonymous meetings provide support for
both the adolescent and the family in recovery. Random urine drug screens are also given
to aid and monitor the adolescent's progress while in treatment.
The F.A.I.R. program utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment in order to
best serve our clients in their individual and family recovery. Each client works closely
with a treatment team made up of certified alcohol and drug abuse counselors, therapists,
psychologists, psychiatrists, and peer counselors. We welcome opportunities to work with
therapists, legal officers, and schools within the community in order to better serve the
holistic needs of your client. Our services also include on-site individual and family treatment
provided by an affiliated group of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers as needed.
Many of our clients experience problems with mood disorder, ADHD, generalized anxiety
disorder or bipolar disorder. We are able to treat these and other concurrent psychological
disorders which may inhibit the recovery process. Our approach has shown to be very successful
in working with these dual-diagnosed clients with added challenges.
- F.A.I.R. offers FREE adolescent chemical dependency/drug abuse EVALUATIONS
- Based on evaluation results, referrals are made reflecting the most appropriate level of care for each individual
- URINE DRUG SCREEN TESTING available for $75.00 - this service is available to anyone who would like to know if their teen is using drugs
